A mandate

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Jesus called us to make disciples, not only new converts.

Our mission is to preach the gospel, baptize and teach as Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20.
It's not only preaching! The mission is not complete by only preaching!

To preach is the easy part! To deliver a baby, although in the midst of pain, is the easy part.
Many people think, even among the christians, that our mission is only to preach, and that it's enough.

But it is not enough!

Edgar Guest once said:

"I prefer to see a sermon than to hear it any day. I prefer someone walking with me than someone who just indicates me the way."
What about you? Do you have time to walk with someone or do you prefer to indicate the way. Think about it and make your comments.

God bless you,

Partnership in Mission! Lets do it together!

Welcome!

Grace and peace of Our Lord Jesus be with you!

I'd like to invite you to join me as we take care of many disciples of Jesus. This blog was made to you, so we can share our experiences in making disciples.

Sometimes we go through certain situations that we wouldn't like to experience, but that's our side of the treatment God wants us to live so we can grow, not only in theory but in real life.

Do you want to make questions? Go ahead!
Do you want to tell your experiences? We'd love to hear it.

Besides, we're going to have some hints on discipleship trainning as well as some studies on this subject.

Feel free to participate.
Invite your friends that love to disciple others to post and become a member of this blog.

God bless you!

Filipe
